Sales Manager

Responsibilities

  • Meet targets of self & drive branch sales team to meet their sales targets
  • Strict usage of CRM - Ensure minimum data requirements in CRM, to update on timely basis  all sales activities
  • Responsible for sales continuity and ensures sales team is complete through recruiting, motivating, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Derive sales strategies locally. Guide and support sales team to increase market penetration
  • Present sales, revenue  reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Formulate monthly  / annual sales budgets for the branch
  • Ensure job profitability is achieved through active consultation with Manager-Airfreight & Sea freight
  • Manage credit approvals  as per prescribed limits and credit lines in line with Global KPIs
  • Ensure all Sales personnel at the branch are fully aware of CRM and that they adhere to procedures for Sales as defined in  the Quality Handbook.
  • Escalate to Branch Manager / Product Heads in the event of any Claims and Cargo discrepancies per prescribed procedures QP 300
  • Represent Rohlig in trade shows / exhibitions at the location basis instructions from BM / National Sales Manager
  • Awareness of  statutory requirements and work within the norms of the company and institutions
  • Communication – provides both verbal and written information in a timely, clear and concise manner

 

Skills required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 7 years working experience in Freight Forwarding/ Logistics industry
  • Strong air and ocean product knowledge.
  • Fluent in English language, both verbal and written
