Röhlig Logistics strengthens its market position in contract logistics
Bremen, 26 June 2023 - The owner-managed logistics company Röhlig Logistics is strategically advancing its contract logistics business. Thanks to its ambitious expansion strategy, Röhlig now has around 260,000 square metres of warehouse space in more than 15 countries.
Hylton Gray, CEO Sea Freight, Air Freight, Contract Logistics & Sales at Röhlig Logistics, says: "Most recently we have significantly expanded our capacity with new warehouses in Malaysia, Australia, South Africa and Singapore. In the next few months, we will be opening additional facilities in Southeast Asia and Oceania, so that by the end of 2023 we will be represented with around 40 warehouses worldwide. This global presence across all continents allows us to ensure maximum reliability and flexibility even in times of volatile markets."
Closely linked to the continuous network expansion is the implementation of global quality standards and uniform software structures. "From the layout of the warehouse to the warehouse management system - we place great emphasis on offering consistency and a seamless process to all customers worldwide," explains Niels Rudolph, Global Contract Logistics Director at Röhlig Logistics. In addition, the company is constantly expanding its range of "value added services", for example the returns management in North Asia.
