State-of-the-art facility near Melbourne Airport 

Röhlig’s upcoming Melbourne facility, scheduled to open in April 2025, is designed to support fast and flexible international trade. Strategically located near Melbourne Airport, the 19,000 square metre purpose-built warehouse will feature 17,500 pallet positions, comprehensive inventory control, and a range of value-added services. With renewable energy sources, EV charging, and sustainable waste and water management practices, Röhlig aims to minimise environmental impact while enhancing operational efficiency.

Sophisticated warehouse management system

Both new facilities will benefit from a sophisticated warehouse management system (WMS) from Infor, a global leader in cloud-based software solutions. “With key capabilities like automation and analytics, the Infor WMS provides full visibility into warehouse operations. This enables us to optimise processes and deliver even more reliable service tailored to our customers' needs”, said Niels Rudolph, Global Contract Logistics Director at Röhlig Logistics.
