New Management Team for Rohlig Germany
Bremen/Hamburg, February 15th, 2021 - At the beginning of February, Dirk Schneider, who has headed the German organisation of Röhlig Logistics since April 2020, reorganised his management team.
Four experienced logistics experts form the team around Dirk Schneider. Jens Haas will continue to be responsible for air freight, offering intelligent charter solutions for time-critical and sensitive products in the healthcare and automotive segments, among others, in addition to classic air freight. Stefan Drust, previously Head of Sea Freight Export, is now in charge of the entire sea freight division and will expand it in order to actively meet the greatly changed conditions in the sea freight business. Philipp Schulze, who recently joined Röhlig and is also dedicated to the topics of networking and digitalisation, will take over the commercial part with the departments of Finance, Human Resources, IT and Quality Management. The management team is completed by Kay Brunkhorst. Kay Brunkhorst, previously active in Key Account Management at Röhlig, succeeds Andreas Polychronakos, who has moved to the holding company. In his new function as head of the sales team, Kay Brunkhorst will focus on the further development of the service portfolio as well as the development of new customer segments.
Dirk Schneider explains: "We are now well positioned to further expand our core business and open up new markets, especially where customised customer solutions are in demand. Our strength lies in going the extra mile for our customers. Increasing market volatility makes it more important than ever to offer innovative solutions with excellent service. That is part of our DNA. And that will be the future."
