Our Rotterdam office has recently undergone a significant transformation. After relocating to a new floor within the same building, the space now features a fresh, modern design that enhances both the work environment for our team and the experience for our customers. This move reflects our culture of innovation and continuous improvement, offering a dynamic space equipped with the latest technology and thoughtful design elements.
A Memorable Event with Our Valued Partners and Leaders
To mark this exciting development, we hosted an opening event on 19th September 2024, attended by customers, sub-contractors, senior leadership, and staff. Organised by our Netherlands Managing Director, Wim Diepenhorst, and HR Coordinator, Nikita Lageweg Van Der Touw, the opening party brought together key figures from across the business and sub-contractors to celebrate this new chapter in Rotterdam.
Attendees among the senior leadership team included Gary Pryke, CEO of North Europe and Daniel O'Connell, Chief Financial Officer – North Europe, who flew in from the UK for the occasion. Jeroen Donker, our Regional Procurement Supervisor, also joined the party, highlighting the collaborative and forward-thinking nature of our organisation.
A Space Designed for the Future
The redesigned office is equipped to meet the evolving needs of modern business. A state-of-the-art, tech-enabled boardroom allows for easy set-up virtual meetings and presentations, while a brand new kitchen and multiple breakout areas provide relaxed spaces for team work and downtime. This enables the new office to become a centre for creativity, connection, and collaboration.
Looking Ahead
This upgraded office will improve our day-to-day operations and offer a welcoming environment for our customers and partners. We’re particularly excited to host our first customer meetings in this revitalised space, where the design and facilities mirror the progressive and customer-focused way of doing business at Röhlig Logistics.
