Emergency Solutions by Röhlig: Fast, Direct and Intelligent
March 1st, 2021 - At the beginning of the year, Röhlig Germany expanded its service portfolio to include Emergency Solutions. Emergency Solutions comes into play for customers whose shipments are particularly time-critical, have to be transported directly or to or from remote locations under special conditions. Intelligent solutions "outside the box" form the core of this new unit with a wide range of services:
- After-hours service for AOG shipments
- Engine shipments for airline customers
- Tracking service
- Time-critical healthcare shipments (Covid-19 Alliance)
- Ramp-Airside Access
- Customs clearance for imports and exports
- Dangerous goods handling (explosives, radioactives)
- OBC service (On-Board-Courier)
- Direct airport-airport, airport-customer, customer-airport services
Boris Brajkovic, head of the new service unit at Röhlig Germany, has a lot of experience in the field of emergency solutions and was pleased when an intelligent logistics strategy prevented a conveyor belt standstill at an automotive supplier or, during the Corona pandemic, medical supplies were transported quickly, easy and directly to where the need was most urgent - wherever.
