At Röhlig Logistics, caring for people is central to what we do, not just for our team members, but also for the communities in which we operate. Our Röhlig Charity Programme aims to give back to those in need. When Röhlig Denmark had the opportunity to make a real difference thanks to the 2023 Röhlig Charity Project, the team were excited to help. After an employee vote, we are delighted to announce our support for the mental health charity Headspace Roskilde. We are proud to support Headspace Roskilde so we can make a positive impact together for local youth.
Who are Headspace?
Headspace Roskilde offers free, confidential counselling and support for young people aged 12-25 across Denmark. At Headspace Roskilde, it is free to book an appointment to discuss any issues they are facing - as many times as needed. This includes topics like anxiety, depression, relationships, sexuality, bullying, and more. With judgement-free advisers ready to listen, Headspace provides a safe space for young people to share their thoughts and get support.
To celebrate Headspace Roskilde’s 10th anniversary, Röhlig Denmark contributed a €5000 donation to support their inspirational work. The contribution came at an ideal time, coinciding with Headspace’s office move to new premises. It enabled them to furnish the new space to continue providing counselling services.
Röhlig Denmark’s team was honoured to support such a vital organisation making a difference for Denmark’s youth. As Jesper Edvardsen, Röhlig Denmark’s Country Manager, said: “We are thrilled that our donation can help Headspace Roskilde continue empowering young people through mental health support. Their services provide a lifeline for youth facing adversity.”
