Röhlig India trusted to offer secure logistics solution for third year running
16 November 2021 - Last month marked the third year in a row that one of our valued customers has trusted in Röhlig India to transport highly confidential printed material from India to the capital city of Lusaka, Zambia.
Since 2019, Röhlig has offered our customer a tailormade service that prioritises security and visibility while avoiding skyrocketing costs. This bespoke door-to-door solution for 24x40’ hc containers travelling ex-ICD to Lusaka, followed by bonded truck transport to our customer’s consignee.
The possibility of theft or disruption is a consideration for any supply chain, however this shipment in particular required an emphasis on heightened security measures. Thanks to our cooperation with CMA CGM, security was arranged to safely escort the delivery at destination, and each of the containers were fitted with a GPRS tracker to ensure the cargo was under close watch.
Having handled this project successfully for 3 years running, our team continues to value the immense trust that our customer bestows on our team and our logistics services.
