Röhlig Logistics successfully completes its annual “Röhlig Charity” initiative
Bremen, 19 December 2024 - The owner-managed logistics company Röhlig Logistics has once again successfully carried out its annual "Röhlig Charity" initiative. This year, Röhlig subsidiaries in over 30 countries supported more than 35 charitable organisations and projects worldwide.
Philip W. Herwig, Managing Partner at Röhlig Logistics, shared: “The Röhlig Charity initiative is driven locally and aims to create meaningful change in the communities in which we operate. Every year, we encourage our employees worldwide to propose charitable projects that resonate with them. These suggestions are then voted on within each country, ensuring the support goes to causes that matter most to our local teams. This local engagement complements our broader global charity efforts.”
Strong employee commitment
As in previous years, Röhlig employees worldwide turned the initiative into a great success. Ulrike Baum, Chief Human Resource Officer at Röhlig Logistics, commented: “Röhlig Charity emphasises the teamwork and commitment in our global network. Beyond donating, many teams also chose to volunteer directly with the charities. It’s inspiring to see colleagues across the globe come together to champion causes they truly care about.”
Wide range of beneficiaries
The supported projects include a diverse range of causes, from community care to cancer research, environmental protection, and animal welfare. Among this year’s beneficiaries are:
- Las Elodias A.C. (Mexico): A care home providing support for elderly individuals in vulnerable situations.
- Cure Cancer Australia (Australia): Committed to funding groundbreaking cancer research.
- Children’s Cancer Foundation (Singapore): Improving the quality of life of children with cancer and their families.
- Nature Conservation Society of Japan (Japan): Working to preserve Japan’s rich natural environment.
- Monmouth County SPCA (United States): Focused on the rescue, care, and protection of animals in need.
- Casa di Mauro (Belgium): Provides a comfortable living environment and live-in supervision for adults with disabilities.

In 2024, the logistics service provider continued its commitment to the ASB-Wünschewagen project, which fulfills final transport wishes for critically ill individuals.
