Röhlig Logistics receives EcoVadis Silver medal for sustainability achievements

Bremen, 29 November 2022 - The owner-managed logistics company Röhlig Logistics was awarded the EcoVadis Silver medal in recognition of its sustainability performance in October 2022. This result places Röhlig in the top 25 per cent of companies ranked by EcoVadis, the world’s largest provider of business sustainability ratings. The assessment covered four key areas: environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

“We are delighted with this validation of our achievements in the field of sustainability“, says Ulrike Baum, Chief Human Resource Officer and member of the Global Executive Board at Röhlig Logistics. She adds: “We have advanced from the Bronze to the Silver level within only a year, and the improved score reflects our continuous commitment to sustainable practices.”

The sustainable efforts of the logistics solutions provider include participating in the world’s biggest corporate sustainability initiative, UN Global Compact, offering CO2-neutral air freight transportation on selected routes in cooperation with Lufthansa Cargo, and supporting environmental charities in several countries as part of the “Röhlig Charity” programme.
