Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • Generate and develop the client portfolio through coordinating meetings and business visits

  • Provide commercial follow-up with potential clients.

  • Acquire new business and global clients within the main markets assigned by the sales strategy.

  • Make offers to clients.

  • Negotiate rates with clients and suppliers.

  • Achieve the monthly Gross Profit established in the sales budget.

  • Record the corresponding commercial information in the CargoWise/CRM system.

  • Execute specific commercial campaigns to meet business needs.

 

Skills required

  • Extensive experience in sales within the freight forwarder industry.

  • Knowledge and experience with services: BBK, RO-RO, Chartering, FCL OOG, Heavylift, etc.

  • Advanced English language skills.

  • Analytical capability for commercial strategies.

  • Customer orientation.

  • Proactive attitude.

  • Time management skills.

  • Sense of responsibility.

  • Negotiation skills.
